More holiday fun

Auntie Mardys came to visit the day after Christmas. She brought Sophia the cutest little outfits. Although her visit was short, we had a great time and were so glad she came!

Meeting Mommy's friends

While in Alabama, I took Sophia to meet my dear friend's parents, the Vesses. They made a fuss over Sophia and almost didn't let me leave with her! :o) They are two of the sweetest people I have ever known. I'm so glad Sophia got to meet them!

Bath time fun

Sophia loves bath time!

She is out of her "baby tub" and taking baths in the big tub. This picture was taken after she decided to take a "swim". Of course, it scared me more than it did her...

....but she quickly recovered!

Christmas 2008

Sophia had a great first Christmas, as you can see by all the presents. (These were not all from Santa - the whole family spoiled her!)

She loves her Elmo!

Jumping is her new favorite thing to do!
"All this is for me?!" Eating the paper while Mommy and Daddy help her open gifts.

Playing in her new toy from Grandpop and Grandmom.

Fun with friends!

Some of these pictures are from last month, but I've been a little slack about updating the blog. Here are some pictures of Sophia with her favorite pals!

7 Months Old!

Sophia is 7 months old today! I can't believe how big she has gotten. She still does not have any teeth, but honestly, that is fine with me! :o) She weighs 20 lbs 7 oz! We got her a new car seat since she is about to outgrow her infant carrier. She is eating more solids and seems to love them! She is such a happy baby!

Going Bananas!

We started giving Sophia solids yesterday. We started with bananas. So far, so good. I can't tell if she likes them or not, but she eats them. Next we might try sweet potatoes.

Yummy bananas!

All done!

Story time with Daddy before bed.
